Tahoe Meadows supports a full lesson and training program including individual lessons, summer camp, daily training and clinics.   We have several  top level Trainers who are nationally recognized in their disciplines.

Kelly Van Vleck, one of the top hunter jumper trainers and riders on the West Coast is working long term with Tahoe Meadows on the development of our AA show program. Kelly has a fabulous operation at Rancho Murieta with many championship horses and riders in full training. Her long term vision for Tahoe Meadows includes full time trainers, grooms, show schedules, clinics and more. As an added bonus for our winter months Kelly attends a regular schedule at Thermal and is already located at Rancho Murieta where several of the Winter Series Shows are. Kelly teaches a regular clinic schedule at Tahoe Meadows and we occasionally attend  larger A shows with her.  Her riders are recognized regional and Zone Champions and she makes sure Tahoe Meadows riders have that winning edge.  visit Kelly's Web site

Ben Wolters, Head Dressage Trainer, is a top Dressage rider who joins us from North Carolina.  Ben specializes in a Natural Horsemanship approach to Dressage and in developing that special connection between horse and rider.  Ben has worked with  numerous International Dressage Champions and trained at the prestigious Cadre Noir  in France.  Ben has a unique Dressage for Kids program and an Introduction to Horsemanship program geared for beginners.

Beginner Clinics $65.00 a lesson, walk trot only.

Intermediate/Advanced $70. a lesson. 

Book of  8 $480.  Book of 10 $600.  Must be used in 2 months.

Summer Riding Camp - 5 mornings a week. 9:00 to 12:30  - $325. a week.  Sign up early - this fills up. (1 1/2 hours of riding a day, plus horse care instruction, handling and fun fact sheets)

Full Training ~ 650.00 per month - This can be purchased month to month.  Includes: up to 5  weekly lessons, training rides, and limited grooming excluding body clipping.  

Year round contract the price is $600. a month.  This is our standard program.

By special arrangement and dependent on horse or program.  

Basic Training ~ 450 per month - this is a year round 12 month contract.   Includes: up to 2 weekly lessons or rides and/or one lunge. No grooming included.

Limited Training or layup ~ $400 a month  - This is a year round 12 month contract and  includes 1  lessons or rides a a week and/or one lunge.   Alternatively it includes 5-6 days a week of once a day lay-up care or horse check.. 

Additional Lessons ~ 35.00, for clients in either Full or Basic training programs on their horses

Trainer  lunge work,  vet  handling ~ 25.00

Day Show Fees - $35.00 - 75.00 (see trainer)

HORSE LEASES   12  month minimum. 

1/2 lease:  850. a  month  Includes:  2  lesson a week and one additional riding day.  Preference for Show days usage.  Full lease is 1200 a month.

All leases can be turned in if a new horse is purchased and becomes a boarder.  We also have a few lease to purchase horses/packages.
