June News 2003
We have been having
fun showing locally and winning lots of ribbons. We attended our first
"A" rated show in Sacramento. Jeanette's horse Barry
turned out to be a long stirrup star winning ribbons against big fields
of horses. Maggie, Robyn's new mare did a great job in the
training jumpers bringing home a ribbon. Welcome to Charlotte King...new Head Trainer...
Here is Frances warming up....

May News 2003
Everyone
went to the March Playday at Zepher where Shana, Mia, Jeanette, Phillip and Sara braved the wind for
ribbons. It was fun and got everyone ready to start the showing
season...However...April was the wettest on record. Luckily Tahoe Meadows
is in the "low snow" area so we dried out pretty quickly
between storms...green grass started sounding really good!
In May we got going on our first 3 day Events (at Eventful Acres and
Murietta) and our first sanctioned SNHSA show at Franktown
Meadows.
The Barn has filled up! Welcome to Frances with Woody, Larry and
Daphne with Tess and Skipper, Tiffany with Andy, Phillip and Max
and others. Our school horses are almost all on lease so we are
out looking for more horses.
Our PonyKid program for this year will be super and we kicked off
with a set of Parks and Rec beginner camps. The whole riding
season will be lots of fun, camps, shows and events.
Couple of updates.
Remember, No jumping without a trainer
Sign up for lessons on the board in the aisle
Please NO dogs without leashes.
If your looking for a horse, call Charlotte. We bring some of the
good ones home and assume we can fit them to one of our buyers (Andy
found a home in 5 days), but we also see lots of possibilities out
there...let us know what you are thinking about..
